Local storage is not the same as a cookie, but some laws regulate both. Functional local storage on LumenBooks is used only to provide features you use and stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
3. Advertising technologies
Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to display and measure ads, limit how often you see an ad, detect invalid traffic and, depending on your settings and choices, personalise advertising. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising cookies are used only after you have given consent through our consent message. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the button below.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and clear website data. If you block certain technologies, some features may not work as expected. Clearing browser storage also removes your saved reading progress and vocabulary.
